How to work with the Yandex Transport application from a smartphone
Everything here is elementary. First of all, download the application from Play Market . Click on the green “Install” button.
After connecting your phone to the service, you will be shown a map on the screen, where the place where you are at the moment will be marked by the letter “I”. Also, you will see the transport that is located near you at that moment. To obtain more information about buses and other vehicles (for example, departure time, route, number of this route), the user needs to tap on the minibus icon, etc.

Launch Yandex Transport on your computer
So, let’s move on to our main task, namely how to launch YaT on our computer. Unfortunately, as I already said, there is no such program for Windows yet. Therefore, we will use the Android emulator created by Bluestacks.
Now we need to download the emulator from its official website . Then, we will install this application from the Play Market on your computer. The installed program has a size of 2048 Mb. Therefore, I recommend installing not on the system drive, but on another one, for example D.
Click “Allow installation” on the antivirus if it requires it. My ESET antivirus and Windows Defender 10 asked me several times whether to allow installation or not? The installation of the BlueStacks engine begins.
After installation, click “Start”.
A shortcut to the BlueStacks emulator appears on our desktop. Next, the software will ask us to enter our work Google account. Let’s activate in this system.
So, click “Start using BlueStacks”.
First of all, we are offered to install the most popular games. But that’s not why we installed this software (although you can use it and install the games you need).
So, go to the BlueStacks search and enter “Yandex Transport” into the search box.
The program begins to search for the desired application. After she has found it, click “Install”.
The Yandex Transport application itself is being installed. Having installed the application, we will be asked to open it.
A program window opens that looks like a smartphone. Click “Continue”.
Then, the device asks permission to determine your location. We allow it.
Next, we begin to work with the application itself. The nuclear fuel is ready for use. Using the map, you will see various icons indicating vehicles in motion. On the icons of buses, trolleybuses, minibuses you will see the numbers of these vehicles and it will become clear to you in which direction they are moving.
